But, without training, the dogs will quickly gain rule over the household. Training puppy is important, as it saves you heaps of trouble later. Some puppy owners skip this early on because dog training takes some work than expected. You would be happy if you could teach a puppy in 30 days. But training a dog well is just a much longer task. Just because your dog looks cute as a puppy is no excuse to deter you from training him early. When training puppies, there are several do’s and don’ts.   Do: Provide the puppy with consistent access to their bathroom area. Let him, or her, to the area every 45 minutes or so. Do expect your puppy to make as few mistakes and prepare by keeping the puppy in "accident friendly" area of your house, if you are not at home. Each time your pup does something deemed good, give him a reward. Treat him praise and delicacy if he does the thing in designated bathroom area. He will then observe that his actions were right. And repeat it next time, in hopes of getting another treat and more praise. Make sure your rewards immediately follow to the desired action. Feed your puppy exactly like you feed yourself. If you eat regularly, put aside food for the dog too. You will need to train your puppy to eat at correct times. This training will help to prevent your puppy from begging for food from your plates. Be patient in training your young dog. Relapses will take place. But perseverance and patience are fundamental. Remember your dog wishes nothing more than to please you. Training him is going to soon be worth the effort.   Don’t: Shout at your pup whenever they make mistakes. Particularly when dogs are young, this could cause fears that will stay with the dog as it ages. When household training your dog, don’t leave food and water out all the time. The dog will urinate more often if he drinks too much. This is something you can influence, to avoid accidents.   Remembering some of these tips will help your puppy to grow into a well-trained dog and overall a more enjoyable companion.
