Robots are taking over. The sci-fi movies predicted that this day would come. Robotic vacuums have taken over your house and not a dust mite is safe. Let us explore a little on why this new technology is so well accepted and literally invading households across the country. More importantly, we will learn how robotic vacuums will eliminate the tedious task of vacuuming from your chores. Let’s  be honest, from the moment man walked on the face of the planet his thoughts were on how he can make things easier. Overtime there where major breakthroughs that drastically changed how we did things. Robotic vaccums will totally revolutionize how household chores are done. The amazing technology of robotic vacuums allow you to flip on a switch on your vacuum cleaner and it will take care of the rest. It is as simple as that, turn on the vacuum cleaner and it will clean the house and recharge itself automatically. How do they work? The breakthrough in computer technology allows manufacturers to create highly versatile and practical robotic vacuums. One example would be the state of the art navigational technologies that allow the vacuum to travel around your home with ease. Most vacuums use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), which can be found in many devices such as many keys for luxury cars. So you are wondering if these cute vacuum cleaners are durable and if they will stand the test of time. First I would like to point out that an overwhelming majority of robotic vacuums come equip with rubber bumpers that prevent any serious damage if the vacuum bumps into something.  However, the best quality robotic vacuums are equipped with infrared sensors that can detect obstacles obstructing the vacuums path. When the infrared detect an obstacle the vacuum will automatically change direction so it will not bump into anything. Is it alive? What if your vacuum was smart enough to detect the various surfaces in your house and was able to choose the best tools to clean that particular surface? Robotic vacuums do just that, with their self-adjusting cleaning heads. Another feature of most of these vacuums is that they will remove dirt and debris from the different types of floors including carpets with no problems at all. Also you will find that a lot of the vacuums have a charging base. Instinctively the robotic vacuums will know when to return to their base and charge when the battery is low. More often than not you will see that these modern vacuums come with a memory program that allows them to remember paths that haven’t clean as of yet. This means that these paths will be first priority to clean in the next go around. Also many of these vacuums can sense stairs and will stop before falling down the steps or the ledge. However, it seems that a few companies are clearly taking the lead when it comes to innovation and product delivery. Some of the current top manufacturers at the moment are Hitachi, iRobot and European company by the name of Electrolux. With the diversity and effectiveness of robotic vacuums I think it’s a completely reasonable assumption that they will make conventional vacuum cleaners obsolete. At the moment many of these vacuums can do a marvelous job cleaning up pet hair and other debris, and best of all they do it automatically. With the growth of the technology I am excited to see the evolution of this industry. Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com Jason L Godwin is a content marketer.
